.......push the bearing and the protection disc on the left side,
insert the last part of the agitator in the right side (Fig. 37). In the
right hand seat of the bearing, first fit the bearing and then apply
the protection disc on the right, before the matching part of the
agitator (not shown in the figure). Secure the left bearing in its
seat and push the shaft home.
Secure the shaft with the agitator element on the left side (Fig.
38). Then proceed to re-assemble the rest of the parts required
by the agitator.
4.2 DISTRIBUTOR TEST
General information
- The correct functioning of the doser mainly depends on the
chain wheels installed in the gearbox of the rear seed
covering wheel, depending on the working width of the rows!
- Before using the machine for the first time, check the number
of teeth in the gearbox!
(Consult the relevant table in the standard machine manual).
4.2.1 DISTRIBUTOR TEST
Fill with fertilizer before starting the distribution operation.
ATTENTION
Never leave fertilizer residue inside the machine overnight,
especially in autumn! Many types of fertilizers are extremely
hygroscopic and form an extremely hard crust on the doser.
The GASPARDO doser is quick and easy to empty and clean.
Rest the machine's support feet on the ground.
Remove the fastening pin and pull the inspection platform down
(Fig. 39).
To loosen the knob (To, Fig. 40) and to remove the hatch (B)
Position the seed tray underneath the discharge outlet (C).
