Setting Rip Fence Scale Indicator
Use indicator on rip fence to position fence along scale on front rail.
1.
Place rip fence on black tabs. Use tape measure of ruler to measure 6 in. and move fence until it aligns with the measured
distance.
2.
Left most indicator should align with 6 in. mark on fence as shown.
3.
To adjust scale indicator, loosen screw as shown and align scale indicator with 6 in. mark in fence. Then retighten screw.
See Figure 32 and 33A.
For thin materials use the fence on the left of the blade. Fold down the thin fence to allow use of the blade guard. Subtract 2 inches
(50.8 mm) from the scale for accurate measurements.
