TO TEST-DRIVE THE MOWER
1. While still seated on the mower, make sure it is on (LCD screen
is illuminated) and the parking-brake pedal is disengaged (Fig.
8d).
2. Press the " " button several times to set the driving speed to
the slowest available (Fig. 8d).
3. Pull both left paddle and right paddle towards the operator
simultaneously and then release them, the mower status
indicator will shine green, which means the mower is ready to
drive.
4. To drive forward: depress the accelerator pedal.
To drive in reverse: pull one of or both paddles towards the
operator and hold them in that position, then depress the
accelerator pedal.
5. While the mower is moving, slowly raise yourself off of the seat. The driving system should stop the mower.
NOTICE: If the driving system fails to stop when the operator is off of the seat:
a. Release the accelerator pedal to stop the mower.
b. Press the parking-brake pedal to engage the brake.
c. Disconnect the safety key and battery packs.
d. Verify that the cable and the plug are properly connected. Refer to step 1 in chapter "INSTALLING THE SEAT"
earlier.
If the cause cannot be determined after confirming the plug and socket connection of the seat is properly connected,
contact your EGO customer service center immediately.
WARNING: DO NOT operate the mower until the safety interlock system has been repaired by a qualified service
technician.
