View event memory
This setting is only visible to the Customer service
user. The event memory information shown here re-
lates to error messages that occurred during the sys-
tem test. The active and the passive event memories
are displayed. Unlike passive events, active events or
errors are currently still persisting.

Select the appropriate log to view the error mes-
sages and results of the system test.
Install software updates
The charger searches for software updates as stand-
ard and downloads them. This setting determines
whether software updates are installed automatically
or manually. Software version: Shows the currently
installed software version.
Information
To find and download software updates, the charger
must have an Internet connection.
Update automatically
When this function is enabled, the charger installs
software updates automatically.

Select Automatic software updates.
Update manually
When a new software version is available, a notice
appears in the device status in the Dashboard.
b Automatic software updates is deactivated.

Select Perform software update to begin instal-
lation.
Store settings
Your configuration settings and previously entered
data can be saved using a backup. With this backup,
you can restore these settings if necessary, e.g. fol-
lowing a reset to factory settings. Backups are cre-
ated manually in the web application.
No passwords or personal data, such as the charging
history, are stored in the backup.
Creating a backup
With manual backup, the data is stored on your de-
vice.
b Your device and the charger are located in the
same network.
1. Select Export.
2. Navigate to the storage location.
3. Save the backup file.
Assign password: Enter a password.
The password protects your data and must be
entered when you import or restore the backup.
Restoring a backup
You can import a saved backup file from your device
to the charger.

1. Select the Import button.
2. Navigate to the backup file, and select it.
3. Enter the password you used to save the backup
file.

Resetting to factory settings

If you activate this function, all personal data and
configurations, e.g. charging history and network set-
tings, are deleted. Moreover, all passwords will be
reset to the initial passwords indicated in the letter
containing your access data.

Activate Reset to factory settings.
To create the backup Refer to chapter "Service"
on page 78.
Information
If the settings are reset to the factory state, the
setup wizard will assist you with the most important
charger settings the next time you start it up.
