b The Energy Manager and end device are in the
same network.
1. Password assigned: Enter password.
�� The password protects your data and must
be checked when importing or restoring the
backup.
2. Select Create backups.
3. Navigate to the storage location.
4. Save backup file.
Restore backup
1. Select the Restore backup button.
2. Navigate to the backup file and load it.
3. Enter the password that was used when saving.
Restart system
If the Energy Manager applications are not running
correctly, it is recommended to restart the device.

Select the Restart function.
Alternatively, the device can also be restarted on the
device itself.
g Follow the installation instructions for the Home
Energy Manager.
Diagnostics
Existing error messages for the Energy Manager can
be viewed here.

Select Update to check the system for existing
error messages.
�� Existing error messages are listed in the
Web Application.

Status and error information can be downloaded. This
information can also be made available to a Porsche
dealership.
1. Select Download diagnostic file.
2. Navigate to the storage location and save the
file.
Home setup
The Home user can add and remove power consum-
ers here. Other corrections and additions are only
possible with the Customer support user.
Information
When the home setup is performed again, settings
made are automatically saved after one minute of
inactivity (no active charging of linked chargers).
For information on overload protection, refer to the
g Home Energy Manager installation instructions.

Configure home setup. Home setup includes the
following points:
Configuration of the Energy Manager in
terms of power consumers
Prioritization and management of charging
processes when using multiple chargers
Activating functions, e. g. Overload protec-
tion, Self-consumption optimization and
Cost-optimized charging
Specifying mains phases
Only the Customer service user can make settings
for the mains phases.

Assign current converter
Only the Customer support user can make settings
for the current converters.
g Follow the installation instructions for the Home
Energy Manager.
Configuring power sources
Only the Customer support user can make settings
for the power sources.
g Follow the installation instructions for the Home
Energy Manager.
Specifying power consumers
Existing power consumers (e. g. garage, sauna) and
EEBus devices (e. g. charger Porsche Mobile Charger
Connect, Porsche Mobile Charger Plus) are specified
here. The current transformers are assigned to the
phases used.
