Use the following procedure to install the parallel
guide fence:
1. Loosen the wing screws (5) on both sides.
2. Insert the parallel guide fence (C) into the guide
provided for this purpose.
It can be mounted on the left or right side

3. Tighten the wing screws (5) on both sides.
✓ The parallel guide fence is installed.
Use the following procedure to adjust the cutting
width:
1. Loosen the wing screws (5) on both sides.
2. Adjust the parallel guide fence.
3. Tighten the wing screws (5) on both sides.
✓ The cutting width is adjusted.
In addition, the parallel guide fence can also be used as a double support for a better
guidance of the hand-held circular saw. Simply turn it over (the guide tab (23) points
upwards).
Alternatively, you can guide the machine with the parallel guide fence along a guide rail or a
wooden ledge fixed on the workpiece. This requires the parallel guide fence to be rotated so
that the guide tab (23) points upwards.

5.11 Working with the guiding device

The description for the guiding device can be found in the enclosed instructions "Guiding
device L/M/ML/S".
