NOTE
Product damaged caused by closing the EFL 30 / EFL 30 C without batteries.
After commissioning, the batteries may only be removed for maintenance purposes
or when expressly indicated in these operating instructions (
11.3 Battery change,
page 59).
If the EFL 30 / EFL 30 C is closed without batteries, it can no longer be opened (with-
out force).
After a longer period of time until commissioning (in case of intermediate storage or
similar), we recommend changing the batteries during commissioning.
When using the external antenna FAN 30, the integrated antenna in the EFL 30 / EFL
30C is deactivated.
Operation is then only possible via the external antenna FAN 30.
Only connect the FAN 30 to the EFL 30 / EFL 30 C when the batteries are not inserted,
otherwise it will not be recognised.
Do not close the battery lock EFL 30 / EFL 30 C after connecting the FAN 30 (see note
above)!
Immediately reinsert the batteries into the EFL 30.
The integrated antenna is reactivated in the same manner:
Pull the connector plug of the FAN 30 out of the EFL 30. Remove the batteries briefly
and reinsert them so that the EFL 30 / EFL 30C recognises that there is no FAN 30.
When using the external plug-in power supply unit PS 30, there must not be any
batteries in the battery compartment of the EFL 30 / EFL 30 C.
