SBM SERIES SELF-PRIMING PUMP
1. CHARACTERISTICS

SBM series of stainless steel self-priming multistage centrifugal pumps:
PPO plastic impeller and diffuser, SUS304 stainless steel pump body, advanced design, high pressure,
high efficiency, high strength, etc.
SBM series motors feature class F insulation, IP55 protection, UL&VDE certified capacitor, super me-
chanical seal, thermal protection.
SBM series belongs to the set of horizontal self-priming multistage centrifugal self-priming pumps,
axial inlet and radial outlet, coupled with long shaft electric motor.
The SBM series is suitable for agriculture, industry, air conditioning, air-conditioning systems, industrial
washing, water treatment (water purification), pressurisation of large buildings, water supply, garden
sprinklers, fishing and so on.
2. INSTALLATION
Warning:
•
Do not install the pump in sunny or damp areas.
•
Install the pump as close to the water as possible in order to keep the suction pipe as short as
possible and prevent reduced suction.
•
Position the pump using the brackets.
•
Install the pump in a dry and ventilated location to ensure safe operation.
•
Try to reduce the gradient in the delivery circuit as much as possible, the gradient should be less
than 20%.
•
The connection in the delivery circuit must be airtight, the pipes must be supported separately.
•
It is recommended to install a vacuum gauge and a pressure gauge on both suction and discharge
side to absorb operating situations.
3. OPERATING CONDITIONS
The SBM series is suitable for clean, non-flammable fluids without corrosion to PPO plastic. Fluid tem-
perature: +5°C to 60°C; maximum ambient temperature: 40°C; maximum suction: 8 metres; maximum
working pressure: 1 MPa; maximum inlet pressure is limited by the maximum working pressure.
