Fitting a threaded-stud holder
• Position and screw the threaded-stud holder into the body
of the gun.
• Position and gently screw the gas protection nozzle onto
the stud holder.
• Position the previously adjusted threaded-stud holder into
the gas protection nozzle.
• Screw on the gas protection nozzle.
• Reposition and screw the pad and the cover onto the ear-
thing rods.
Note: When screwing in the various components, the body
of the gun must always be secured with a wrench.
Adjusting a threaded stud support
• Unscrew the locknut and screw in the threaded stud support.
• Insert the threaded stud into the stud support.
• Adjust the threaded stud support screw so that there is 5 mm between the end of the screw and the base of the
attachment thread (stud).
• Lock the lock nut.

Note: It is possible to weld attachments up to 45 mm long. Over 30 mm in
length, it may be necessary to completely unscrew and reverse the direc-
tion of the threaded-stud holding screw.
Note: If the welding on the threaded stud shows that the threaded-
stud holder has been marked by the welding process, adjust the
threaded-stud holder screw so that the threaded stud protrudes a
little further from the threaded-stud holder.
Fitting the earth holding shoe and the gas shielding cap:
• Insert the gas-protection cover into the earthing pad and secure it
with a screw.
