1. INTRODUCTION
This instruction manual is split into 5 booklets: PART 1,
containing general information regarding our whole product
range; PART 2, containing information specifi c to the motor-
driven pumps; this booklet, PART 3, containing information
specifi c to the pressure booster set; the HERTZ ONE controller
board manual, containing information on said controller; and
the expansion tank manual.

Comply with the instructions given in all booklets to get the
most out of your set and assure its proper operation. Most
importantly, we advise you to read and comply with the "GEN-
ERAL SAFETY WARNINGS" given in chapter 5 in part 1 relat-
ing to the pump and chapter 3 of this manual. For further
information, get in touch with your nearest authorized dealer
or assistance centre.

There are no RESIDUAL RISKS on motor-driven pumps or on
electric and hydraulic devices fi tted on the pressure booster
sets, except for the risk simply attributable to the air under pres-
sure in the expansion tank.
Values must be kept within the operating and precharge pres-
sure ranges, and operating and ambient temperature ranges,
as indicated on the expansion tank's label.
You are strongly advised to comply with the instructions con-
tained in the expansion tank manual. Tanks installed by EBARA
PUMPS EUROPE S.P.A. are only approved to Directive 97/23/
EC. The motor-driven pumps are not contemplated in this direc-
tive. The rest of the accessories concerned do not feature EC
