For luminaires with discharge lamps and/or HF control gears, the control gear must be
placed outside the recess ( B), in a well-ventilated, dry and suitably sized place (see
fig.
) at a distance of not more than 1.5m from the luminaire.
Important: containers made from materials with a thermal conductivity less than that of
the concrete (=0.78 hcal/mh°C) are not allowed, neither are containers made from
insulating materials.
INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT OF LAMPS
Disconnect from the mains and follow the instructions given below.
Ideally, before inserting the new lamps, the reflector should be cleaned using a soft dry
synthetic cloth without chemical products, alcohol, detergents or abrasives.
To preserve the brightness of the reflector during installation and maintenance, use the
gloves provided.
According to the item, luminaires of the SUPERTECHNE range can be fitted with lamps

LOW VOLTAGE HALOGEN LAMPS
Open the access flap of the optical compartment by acting on the Polyblok spring;
Lift the retaining ring and extract the lampholder.
insert/replace with a lamp with a max. power of 100W (12V) (if necessary, tighten
the safety screws to guarantee a firm grip).
Place the lampholder back in position making sure the lamp filament is brought within
the focus of the reflector.
Close the access flap, making sure the safety glass is in perfect condition.
