RESIDUAL RISKS
The safety ring around the
blade is made in conformity
to European standards EN
1974:1998 +A1 but, in order
to allow the sharpening oper-
ations, the protection in the
sharpening area may not en-
tirely eliminate the risk of cut-
ting.

ing operations, pay extra atten-
tion to keep your hands as far as
possible from the unprotected
area. Use of protective gloves is
recommended.
INSTALLATION
OF THE MACHINE
Install the machine at a maxi-
mum height of 90 cm, on a flat,
smooth and dry surface suita-
ble for supporting the weight
of the machine itself plus the
products to be sliced.
WARNING: Verify that

there are no obstacles to
the meat table travel and to the
loading of products.
The machine must be installed
in the immediate vicinity of an
EEC standard outlet connect-
ed to an electrical supply sys-
tem which is in conformity with
the prevailing regulations for:
- magneto-thermic protection;
- automatic differential switch;
- earthing system.
Before carrying out electrical
hook up verify that the charac-
teristics of the electrical power
supply is in accordance with
those indicated on the machine
information plate.

WARNING! For machines
with
3-phase
check the blade orientation.
Push the start button (1) to
switch on the machine: looking
at the blade from the operator
side, the blade has to rotate
downwardly (Fig. B).

Automatic function
- Make sure that the machine
is off (2).

- Push the carriage to end
stop.
- Lift the product presser.
- Position the product on the
meat table.
- Place the product presser ei-
ther over or to the side of the
product depending on product
size.
- Adjust cutting thickness us-
ing the adjustment knob.
- Move the operating lever
(22) toward the operator in au-
tomatic mode.
- Manually move the carriage
until it hooks. The carriage
does not need to be manually
moved any further from this
motor,
point.
- Switch on the machine by
pressing the on button (1).
- Press and hold button (B3)
until the blade starts to rotate.
- Press button (B4) to start the
carriage in automatic mode.
- Carriage speed at start-up is
set by default to 35 strokes per
minute.
- Press buttons (B5) and (B6)
to decrease or increase car-
riage speed. 8 speed levels are
available:
20 strokes per minute
25 strokes per minute
30 strokes per minute
35 strokes per minute
40 strokes per minute
45 strokes per minute
50 strokes per minute
> 50 strokes per minute
Carriage speed can be modi-
fied even when the machine is
switched off.
- Press button (B3) to stop au-
tomatic carriage movement.
- Press button (B4) again to
re-start the carriage.
- If the carriage is unhooked
during operation and cannot
be moved forward or back-
ward, the blade and automatic
movement will stop after 15
