3.4.
Countercooling
Notice
•
Observe the laws and regulations of the water distribution company valid in the
location where the unit is operated.
•
Make sure that the tubes are securely attached.
•
Employ suitable connecting tubing (temperature range).
•
Avoid mechanical work (torsion, bending) to be applied to tubing.
•
Regularly check the tubing for material defects (e.g. for cracks).
For applications near the ambient temperature, the cooling coil must be
connected to the water mains.
Connection to cooling (tap) water
• Using tubing, connect the cooling coil to the tap water supply, and lead
the tap water in a sink through the return connector.
• A specific water flow rate of 100 ml/minute is sufficient to compensate
for the characteristic temperature.
Recommendation: Use a flow-rate regulator.

nozzles 2 x 8 mm dia. for tap water cooling
External Cooling Devices
Recommended in combination with CT72/2, CT72/4
With the flow-through cooler CK300/CK310 from SI Analytics GmbH, the
heat transfer liquid can be cooled down and the transparent thermostat
can be rendered independent of tap water.
•
Installation and use are described in the instruction manual for the
cooler.

5-pin socket for control cable to the flow-through cooler
(CK300/CK310)
Recommended in combination with CT72 TT
Using an appropriate refrigerated circulator, the bath liquid can be cooled
down to -40 °C.
•
Installation and use are described in the instruction manual for the
refrigerated circulator.
