Modification for using the measuring stand AVS or manual measurement inserts

Preparations
Filling
• Recommended maximum filling level with water as the bath liquid is
the top edge of the window.
• Recommended maximum filling level with oil as the bath liquid is
20 mm below the top edge of the window.
Draining
•
Press the mains switch to turn the transparent thermostat off.
•
Disconnect the power plug from the mains socket!
•
Slide a short piece of tube onto the drain port (17) and hold it into a
pail.
•
Unscrew the drain tap (18) and empty the unit completely.
•
Tighten the drain tap.

Bath lid B suitable for 2 measuring stands AVS
or
2 manual measurement inserts for capillary viscometers with
holders
CT 72/2, CT 72 TT

Lay centering insert for measuring stand AVS on the bottom of the
bath and push it in direction to edges

Lay the clamp on the rear panel and tighten both screws to fix the
centering insert to the bottom of the bath.

The insert for the bath lid is attached with six screws.

Each of the two openings can accept one measuring stand AVS

If necessary, immerse manual measurement inserts for visco-
meters in the opening.
Immerse viscometers with holders as per the instructions in the
corresponding operating manual for capillary viscometers.

Cover the unused openings with the lid.
