- Never use chains whose cutting teeth angles
are designed solely for stationary machines.
- Do not forcibly change the selected cut direc-
tion while cutting.
- Safety covers and devices must not be removed,
and their proper operation must not be disa-
bled.
- Before you start working, check the lubrication
oil level and make sure the lubrication works.
- Do not cut pieces that are too big or too small
for the tool.
- Absolutely never plunge the operating machine
into fully enclosed surfaces. This poses a risk
of kickback injury!
- When operating the tool in enclosed areas, it
is necessary to provide sufficient ventilation or
exhaust. Avoid cutting hazardous materials,
such as asbestos.
- Remove all foreign particles from the material
to be cut, especially metal, which will damage
the tool and may lead to injury.
- Use caution when discarding sawdust! If the
sawdust removal port is plugged, you must
turn off the machine and unplug it. Only when
the chain stops can the chain sprocket cover be
removed and the plugged port cleaned. Never
touch the sawdust removal port until the ma-
chine is at a total standstill.
- Turn the machine on only when it is placed on
the piece to be cut. Do not start cutting before
the machine reaches full RPM.
- Do not remove the machine from the cut piece
before the chain has completely stopped.
- Keep your workplace in order. A messy work-
place can cause a work injury.
- Beware of environmental factors. Do not leave
the machine in the rain, and do not use it in
a wet or humid environment. Ensure good
lighting at your workplace and do not use the
machine near flammable liquids or gases. Do
not put the hot machine into an environment
where ignition might occur, and keep the ma-
chine clean.
- Check the portable cord regularly and have
it replaced at an authorised service centre if
damaged. Do not use the portable cord to carry
the machine or to pull the plug out of the sock-
et. Protect the cord from high temperatures, oil
and movement across sharp edges.
- Take good care of the tools. Only sharp, clean
tools allow you to work better and safer. Do
not use tools that are defective, blunt or of the
wrong size. Follow the instructions for main-
tenance and replacement of the tools.
- If you are not using the machine, during repair
or tool replacement, unplug the portable cord.
- Before switching the machine on, check that
the plate is secured properly and that the chain
is correctly tightened.
- Never carry the machine with the chain moving.
- Avoid getting the switch stuck in the ON posi-
tion.
- Keep the grips and handles clean and free off
any oil, grease, resin, etc.
- In open areas, use only permissible and ap-
propriately marked extension cords. Regularly
check the extension cord and when it is dam-
aged, replace it immediately.
- During work, keep your body in a normal work-
ing position. Have a firm working stance and
always maintain your balance.
- You must check all safety covers and accesso-
ries, as well as the moving parts before each
use of the machine. All the parts must be prop-
erly assembled, and all conditions for proper
operation of the machine must be met. Any
damaged safety covers and accessories must
be professionally repaired or replaced in an
authorised service centre. Damaged switches
must be replaced by an authorised service cen-
tre. Do not use the machine if the switch cannot
be turned on and off.
- Place the portable cord so that the machine
cannot snag it and so it does not pose any ad-
ditional danger, e.g., stumbling.
- When not using the machine, always have the
protective chain cover on; the same applies
when carrying the machine.
- Once the cut is finished and the machine is
switched off, keep the machine in the working
position until the tool stops completely.
- We recommend putting the machine on the
guide runner. This will help you avoid potential
damage to the chain and the guide bar.
- While the machine is operating, all people, es-
pecially children, must stay clear of the work
area. These unauthorised persons must not be
allowed to touch the machine or its electrical
cord.
- When you are not using the machine, keep it
in a safe, dry, locked location out of the reach
of children and unauthorised individuals.
- Do not use the machine for any purpose that
it is not designed for. Using the machine as a
stationary saw is forbidden.
- Wear suitable tight work clothes. Cut-resistant
clothing is recommended. Do not wear any jew-
