In compliance with the 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE and 2003/108/CE Directives about the reduction of dangerous
substances in the production of electric and electronic equipment, as well as about the waste disposal, the following
procedures have to be carried out:
The symbol of the crossed dustbin on the equipment means that it has to be collected, at the end
of its working life, separately from the other waste. Therefore, the end-user will have to take it to
a separate collection area for electric and electro-technical waste or to give it back to the dealer
when buying a new product of equivalent kind, in ratio one to one. The adequate separate collection
and the following processing and eco-friendly disposal avoid negative effects on the health and the
environment and allow recycling the materials the products are made of. Any unauthorised disposal,
personally carried out by the end-user, would cause the application of sanctions, according to the
local Laws

FIXED PROTECTIONS

SAFETY VALVE

4.11.1 FIXED PROTECTIONS
Fixed protections are shelters or guards assembled on the machine, preventing anyone and anything from touching
the machine moving parts while working.
They are in the machine areas which have to be reached during the maintenance operations and require special
tools to be removed.
DANGER
It is strictly forbidden to re-start the machine after maintenance operations without having properly

4.11.2 SAFETY VALVE
The direct-drive safety valve, compressed by a pressure spring, shows the same
opening features as a full-bore safety valve.
The safety valve (1/4 " gas model) is assembled on the tank body.
It avoids exceeding the maximum pressure of the compressor by 10% and is
factory-set by Campagnola srl at an operational maximum value of P = 12 Bar.
ATTENTION:
It is strictly forbidden to modify the safety valve calibration. The valve is supplied
with its Compliance Declaration according to the 97/23/CE Directive.
