7.4.2 Counters
CLIC-02 has 31 counters, each counter can operate in 9 counting modes: 1 mode for pulse
counter, 6 modes for general use and 2 modes for high speed counting. The counters are
addressed by C mnemonic, varying from C01 ~ C1F. Each counter has 6 configuration
parameters. The table below describes each counter configuration parameter.


On the CLIC-02 display or in the programming tool, the timer block is displayed this way:
7.4.2.1 Counter Mode 0 – Auxiliary Marker
When a counter is configured to mode 0 it will work as an internal auxiliary marker M or N.
The other configuration parameters will keep disabled when this mode is selected.

Selection of counting direction:
OFF: Count up (0, 1, 2, 3...)
ON: Countdown (...3, 2, 1, 0)
Counter reset: When this input is
activated, the current value of the
counter will be reset and its output
disabled.
Current count value: 0 ~ 999999
Count set-point(1): 0 ~ 999999


