Connecting the Conergy IPG 80K–300K
The installation procedure is identical for Conergy IPG 80K–300K
central inverters.
Notes Conergy IPG 300K
Connection of the Conergy IPG 300K is identical to the connection
of the Conergy IPG 280K. However, since the Conergy IPG 300K is
a device which is not galvanically isolated, a few special features
need to be taken into account:
| The output voltage is 270 V
| A medium voltage transformer or a shared transformer with
galvanically isolated low-voltage windings must be provided for
each device.
| The lower output voltage (270 V) results in the production of
higher currents (577 A). This calls for larger cable sections than
for devices with 400 V output voltage.
| The Conergy IPG 300K requires a 630 A AC fuse since there is no
AC fuse integrated in the device.
| A separate 1 kVA transformer may be necessary for the auxiliary
supply of the Conergy IPG 300K in order to supply the drives with
230 V.
| The AC cables required for connection must be of the earth
leakage and short-circuit proof type.
| No further loads should be connected to the AC output voltage
(270 V) of the Conergy IPG 300K.
| The device should be set up and operated in an enclosed
operating room.
| The Conergy IPG 300K must be operated exclusively in IT grids.
| Connect the N conductor connection of the Conergy IPG 300K to
the unearthed, low voltage side neutral point of the medium
voltage transformer.
