Conergy IPG series central inverters
The disconnect facility must be able to be secured to prevent it
being switched back on.
The disconnect facilities for the Conergy IPG series central
inverters must comply with international IEC 60364-7-712
regulations.
Integrated On/Off switch
The ON/OFF switch integrated in the front door disconnects the
individual central inverter from the auxiliary power supply. In the
process, activation of the central inverter is interrupted. The central
inverter is disconnected from the AC grid.
The On/Off switch is not a disconnector.
When Conergy IPG series central inverters are disconnected via
the On/Off switch, voltage is still present at the AC and DC
connections. N.B.: The On/Off switch is not a DC disconnector.
For complete disconnection, all external and internal
disconnectors must be opened before commencing work on the
device.
External On/Off switch (optional)
Systems consisting of Conergy IPG series central inverters can
optionally be equipped with an external On/Off switch.
This switch is integrated in the external auxiliary power supply. It
has the same function as the On/Off switch on the front door and
must be installed outside the operating room.
Overvoltage protection
The inputs and outputs on the central inverter are equipped with
overvoltage protection as follows:
Protection range
AC side
Auxiliary power supply
DC side
| Depending on the local conditions relating to lightning
protection, main low voltage distribution board must be fitted
with class B (EN 1) arresters.
