Conergy IPG series central inverters

Brief description

Conergy IPG series central inverters convert the direct voltage
output from solar generators into grid-compliant alternating
voltage and feed it as three-phase current into the public power
grid. Central inverters can be connected together in any
combination (exception: Conergy IPG 300K) which makes them
suitable for flexible system dimensioning.
Conergy IPG 40K–280K central inverters are equipped with
transformers which transmit the energy produced.
The Conergy IPG 300K is a transformerless central inverter. This
results in a divergent grid voltage of 270 V, unlike the Conergy IPG
40K–280K central inverters.
High-level, optimised efficiency is achieved by means of proven,
innovative components and control techniques. At the heart of
Conergy IPG series central inverters is the full-bridge output stage
consisting of the latest generation of trench insulated gate bipolar
transistors (IGBTs). Optimised maximum power point
tracking (MPPT) makes it possible to achieve maximum feed-in
yields.
The Conergy SmartControl is connected to the internal interface by
CAN converter. Operating data and system messages are created
externally. Once created, the data can then be transmitted onto the
internet by ethernet, telephone line or via a GSM connection and
displayed in the Conergy PV system monitoring portal.

Intended use

Conergy IPG series central inverters are designed exclusively for
converting direct current into alternating current. Any other use
shall be deemed as not intended.
The inverter may only be installed within the permitted ambient
conditions (see Chapter 3.5, page 18).
Unauthorised modifications to the product which were not tested
and approved by the manufacturer are not permitted.
Intended use also includes compliance with the specifications of
this operating manual.
