Instructions for Use

Maintenance

The TPS-mobile does not require any maintenance (except Tip-seal replacement)
for versions equipped with scroll pumps and oil filling-up/change for versions with
Rotary Vane Pumps. Any work performed on the system must be carried out by
authorized personnel.
In the case of breakdown, contact your local Agilent service center.
If a system needs to be scrapped, ensure that local regulations are followed for
appropriate disposal.

Rotor life

The fatigue resistance of the turbomolecular pump rotor strongly depends on pump
size. Refer to the specific pump manual for correct value (number of cycles of ramp
up from stop to full speed and back to stop) or contact Agilent Customer Service
for further information.

Cleaning

The exterior surface of the TPS-mobile may be cleaned with mild detergent only.
