100N INFL ATABLE LIFEJACKET
This level is intended for those who may have to wait for rescue, but are likely to do so in sheltered
water. The device should not be used in rough conditions.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Lifejackets only reduce the risk of drowning. They are not guaranteed to save lives. When wearing
waterproof clothing (sailing clothing, flotation suit etc.), the lifejacket's functionality may be impaired,
e.g. the ability to turn over.
This is not a lifejacket until fully inflated. An uninflated lifejacket offers no safety to the wearer. If
the gas inflation fails, the wearer must be aware that the lifejacket can be inflated using the mouth
inflation tube. Train yourself in the use of the device. Teach the child to float in this lifejacket. The
lifejacket is put on like a jacket and is worn outermost. Secure using the front buckle and crutch strap
buckle. Adjust the waistband/crutch strap to be as tight as possible without being uncomfortable.
The lifejacket must be worn over any safety harness. There is a whistle inside the protective cover.
The emergency light (optional) is activated automatically upon immersion. The emergency light is
located on the left hand side of the lifejacket, inside the protective cover. The sprayhood (optional) is
located behind the neck, under the protective cover. Pull the sprayhood over your head and secure
with the elastic around the bottom of the lifejacket.
The lifejacket must be inspected and serviced at least annually by a Baltic service station.
Alternatively you can carry out a personal inspection. Please refer to www.baltic.se for full instructions.
Temperatures under +5°C, can slow the inflation time. Do not use the lifejacket as a cushion. Store
the jacket in a well-ventilated and dry area. Clean the lifejacket regularly by rinsing it in fresh water;
take care not to trigger the automatic valve. The estimated life span for the lifejacket is 10 years.
