Testing Continuity

1. Press [Cont].
2. Connect the terminals as shown below.
3. Read the display.
A resistance value is observed if the circuit is closed, and
OPEN is observed if the circuit is open.
Continuity Parameters
– Measurement Method: 0.5 mA (typical) constant current source
– Response Time: 100 samples/second with audible tone
– Continuity Threshold: 10 Ω fixed
