DC Current Measurements
When you connect the instrument in series with a test circuit to measure current, a measurement error is introduced.
The error is caused by the instrument's series burden voltage. A voltage is developed across the wiring resistance
and current shunt resistance of the instrument, as shown below.
If you apply more than 1 A during current measurement, self-heating occurs in the instrument record's 3 A shunt
resistor and internal signal-conditioning component. Do allow few minutes stabling time for better accuracy for
current measurement. After applying more than 1 A current measurement, do allow a few minutes for heat
dissipation to ensure better accuracy for other measurement.

The instrument implements capacitance measurements by applying a known current to the capacitor as shown
