To ensure safe operation of the appliance, follow the safety
guidelines set out below:

your local power supply corresponds with the details on the
rating plate of the appliance.
Prior to use, check the appliance for visible external damage.

To avoid potential risks, damaged mains cables should

be replaced by the manufacturer, their customer service
department or a similarly qualified person.
All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist com-

warranty claims.

Protect the base, the mains cable and plug from damp, drips

and splashes. Never submerge the base or the mains cable
in water or other liquids!
Always take hold of the mains plug when disconnecting the

cable from the mains power socket. Do not pull on the cable
itself!
Do not place the appliance itself, furniture items or similar

objects on the mains cable and take steps to ensure it cannot
become jammed or trapped in any way.
Unplug the mains socket from the wall outlet before assembling,

disassembling, when not in use and before cleaning.
