Serial Port
The IND310drive terminal's printer port supplies RS-232/20 mA CL and
RS485/422 serial interfaces for both input and output of serial data in either
demand or continuous format output. Both serial ports can be configured for
demand mode output. Either or both of the ports can be configured for demand
continuous mode output. Information concerning serial data format can be found
in the setup section of the IND310drive User's Guide. The maximum recommended
cable length for RS-232 communications is 15.24 meters (50 feet). Table 2-4
and Table 2-5 provide printer port interconnect information.
