5.2 Maintenance and cleaning
The serviceability of the locking system must be verifi ed at regular intervals.
To do so, check all fastening points and retighten screws, if required.
The mechanical properties of the multi-point lock (key or lever handle
operation / automatic latchbolt) must not be impaired by dirt. They must
be cleaned and lubricated with non-resinous oil at least once a year (See
installation and maintenance instructions M-00090-00-0, point 3).

Disposal

The multi-point lock SECURY 21 EK / S / EVP must be disposed of as
electronic scrap at public collection points and recycling centres in
accordance with legal requirements.
Disposal with residential waste is not permitted!
Packaging must be disposed of separately.
