4.1.3 SECURY 2116 S / 2116 S EVP / 2119 S
NOTE
Check whether all latchbolts are completely pulled back when the inside
lever handle is actuated (panic function).
Check whether the inside lever handle can be pushed down easily.
Release the lever handle so that it returns to its initial position.
Check whether the three latchbolts are projected automatically and
completely through pressing on the trigger lever.
Only for SECURY 2116 S / 2116 S EVP (Multi-point lock for 1-leaf doors):
Make sure that all three latchbolts are completely projected.
Check through pressing on the latchbolts (max. 20 N) whether they are
secured against being forced back.
Check whether all latchbolts are completely pulled back when the locking
cylinder / cylinder cam is actuated.
Make sure that, after the test, all latchbolts are pulled back, i.e. all
latchbolts are in the initial position.
4.2
Function control of the monitoring contacts
Check with the tester (Art. no. B 5599 0023) whether the monitoring
contacts of the multi-point locks work properly (For terminal assignment of
the monitoring functions, see chapter 3.3).
SECURY 2170 / 2170 EVP / 2171 / 2178:
Cylinder cam / position of the key (initial position or actuated)
Outside lever handle (actuated or not actuated)
Inside lever handle (actuated or not actuated)
SECURY 2116 S EVP has an additional latch without
function. It is used for escape route security
through the escape door strike and is not retracted
when the lever and/or locking cylinder is actuated.
