Always concerned to improve the quality of its products, TRACTEL SOLUTIONS SAS reserves the right to modify the
specifications of the equipment described in this manual.
This manual outlines all necessary instructions for the safe and the correct operation of Topal TB and F hooks.
Before using and maintaining these Topal hooks, for maximum safety and efficiency, make sure these instructions
are read, understood and applied by trained users.
This manual should be made available to every operator. Extra copies of this manual will be supplied on request.
Technical data sheets #6005 and 6006 are also available.

NEVER USE FOR PERSONNEL LIFTING
Never exceed the working load limit WLL (see engraving).
Shock loading or specific conditions must also be taken into account when determining the appropriate
product.
Sling angle 90°
Keep support surfaces of hooks and loads free of grease and oil.
F&TB hooks are used in pairs with a 2-legged sling: ensure that WLL and leg length of the sling are
acceptable – refer to recommended sling angle.
Never lift with slings attached to the handle.
TRACTEL SOLUTIONS SAS disclaims all responsibility for the consequences due to lifting with
inappropriate 2-legged slings. Consult TRACTEL SOLUTIONS SAS if any doubt.
Topal hooks allow operations with a high safety level. Make sure that the people in charge meet the
safety requirements of these operations.
TRACTEL SOLUTIONS SAS disclaims all responsibility for the consequences due to disassembly or
modification of the product without prior agreement, especially in case of original components
replacement by spare parts of other origin.
Modification or welding on this product is strictly forbidden without prior agreement from Tractel
Solutions.
Never use the equipment for any lifting other than the type it is designed for.
Use temperature: -20° to +80°C.
Apply and let apply the instructions: it is forbidden to stay or walk within the area, where the load could
fall down.
Always use the adapted individual protection equipment (gloves, safety boots, helmet, glasses...) during
the material handlings.
It is strictly forbidden to walk under the load.
Never move the hanging load above or near people.
It is strictly forbidden to either stand, stay or let any body part under a suspended load.
Never let a suspended load unattended
Warn the people around during the lifting or moving of the load.
Never use a damaged hook or if you have a doubt over its correct functioning.
Regularly examine the condition of the material (see below).
Only TRACTEL SOLUTIONS SAS genuine spare parts should be used.
When laying down a load, the object must be stable.
Consult us for use in aggressive atmospheres.
