5 Work and safety instructions
5.1 General information
•
Trainees should only work with the components and systems under the
supervision of an instructor.
•
Observe the specifications included in the technical data for the individual
components, and in particular all the safety instructions!
•
Wear personal safety equipment (safety goggles, safety shoes) when working on
circuits.
5.2 Industrial robots
•
Risk of injury!
Do not stay in the working area of the robot when the robot is ready or in
operation.
•
Always observe the safety regulations on industrial robots in the manufacturer's
documents!
5.3 Mechanical system
•
Switch off the power supply!

Risk of injury during troubleshooting!
Use a tool such as a screwdriver for actuating mechanical limit switches.

Switch off both working and control energy before working on the circuit.
Only reach into the setup when it's at a complete standstill.
Observe possible overrunning of the actuators.
