The SL510 model has two temperature measurement modes: Single and
Continuous.
S S i i n n g g l l e e M M o o d d e e is used for a single oral or axillary measurement of
temperature o o n n l l y y .
C C o o n n t t i i n n u u o o u u s s M M o o d d e e is used for long-term measurement of oral, axillary, or
rectal temperature.

Select Appropriate Temperature Probe

The SL510 automatically recognises which probe is attached to the device.
5.2

Installing Temperature Probe Cover

NOTE:
3. The probe cover should be securely placed on
the probe, If not, discard the probe cover and repeat.
5.3

Single Mode of Temperature Measurement

NOTE: For single measurements, press the START button before applying the
probe to the measurement site to ensure accuracy. Ensure that the metal

portion of the probe has no contact with the skin prior to measurement.
The probe covers are single-use only. Use a new probe cover for
each temperature measurement and discard after use.
1. Insert the temperature probe fully into the probe
cover where indicated on the packaging.
