INSTRUCTION MANUAL
WARNING:
Before using the equipment, read carefully
all instructions.
. GENERAL SAFETY FOR OPERATING THIS
EQUIPMENT
- During charging, the batteries emit
explosive gasses: avoid generating flames
and sparks. DO NOT SMOKE.
- Before carrying out the test, position the
batteries in a ventilated place.
- In order to prevent damage to the vehicles'
electronics, carefully read, store safely
and scrupulously observe the instructions
provided by the manufacturers of the
vehicles themselves; the same applies
to indications supplied by the batteries
manufacturer.
- DO NOT SET IN THE RAIN OR SNOW.
- Keep away from the reach of children.
- Protect the eyes. Always wear protective
goggles when working on lead-acid
batteries.
- Avoid contact with battery acid. Should
anyone be sprayed by or come into contact
with the acid, wash immediately the part
involved with clean water. Continue to
rinse until a doctor will attend to the
person affected.
- It is important to connect the cables to the
correct polarities. Connect the red clamp
(+) to the battery's positive terminal, the
black clamp (-) to the negative (earth).
- Use this equipment in well ventilated
areas.
- Prevent black and red clamps coming into

(EN)

contact when they are connected to the
battery, since this can cause the melting of
the batter or other metal objects.
- Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear
flapping garments or jewellery that might
get caught into moving parts. While
working, the use of electrically insulated
protective clothing is recommended as
well as anti-slip footwear. Should long hair
be worn, wear a cap to contain them.
