DHW domestic hot water probe
If the domestic hot water tank is enabled, the water probe must be
connected to the unit. Otherwise, an alarm appears. The water
temperature probe (supplied, 20m long) must be placed on the
domestic hot water tank. Refer to the system diagrams in this manual.
Remove the roof of the unit and the cover of the electrical panel and
identify the AP1 electronic board. Comply with the following wiring
diagram:
Probe RT7 features: NTC 50KΩ at 25°C ±3% -20°C/+150°C.
Additional source of heat
The additional source of heat is not supplied with the unit.
The control of an additional source of heat must be enabled and
configured – refer to the control panel manual. NOTE: it is not allowed
to install an additional source of heat and the additional electrical
resistances in the same system. The additional heat source must be
positioned upstream of the 3-way valve. The water temperature probe
(supplied, length 5m) must be positioned downstream of the additional
heat source and downstream of the 3-way valve NOTE: the set point of
the additional heat source must not exceed 60°C.
Refer to the system diagrams in this manual.
The unit has two terminals available to control the additional source of
heat (230V 50Hz control) and a connector (wires 70-71) to connect the
probe placed near the terminal block.
Remove the front panel to access the terminal block of the unit.
The following electric connection is used:
The following probe connection is used:
Probe RT5 features: NTC 50KΩ at 25°C ±3% -20°C/+150°C.
Optional electrical resistance
Additional resistances are not supplied with the unit.
Their control must be enabled and configured – refer to the control
panel manual.
NOTE: it is possible to configure one (KM1) or two (KM1+KM2)
additional resistances.
NOTE: it is not allowed to install an additional source of heat and the
additional electrical resistances in the same system.
The additional resistances must be placed downstream of the 3-way
valve on the system side.
The water temperature probe (supplied, 5m long) must be placed
downstream of the resistance itself.
Refer to the system diagrams in this manual.
The unit has three terminals available to control the additional source of
heat (230V 50Hz control) and a connector (wires 70-71) to connect the
probe placed near the terminal block.
Remove the front panel to access the terminal block of the unit.
The following electric connection is used:
NOTE: the electrical supply to the resistances must be separated from
the power supply of the unit. Set up fuse protection.
NOTE: ensure the use of safety thermostats (TS1-TS2).
