II.5.2.1 Handling instructions
DANGER!
The centre of gravity is off-centre and could cause
sudden and hazardous movements. The unit must
be handled with care, in order to prevent damaging
the external structure and the internal mechanical
and electrical components. Also make sure that
there are no obstacles or people blocking the route,
to avoid the danger of collisions, crushing or
tipping over of the lifting device.
II.5.3

STORAGE CONDITIONS

The units cannot be stacked. The temperature limits for storage are
-20÷50°C.
II.6

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

DANGER!
Installation must only be carried out by skilled
technicians, qualified to work on air conditioning
and refrigeration systems. Incorrect installation
could cause the unit to run badly, with a
consequent deterioration in efficiency.
DANGER!
The unit must be installed according to national or
local rules in force at the time of installation
DANGER!
Do not power the unit until installation is complete.
DANGER!
The machine is intended to be installed outdoors.
Segregate the unit if installed in areas accessible to
persons under 14 years of age.
DANGER!
Some sharp internal parts of the unit may cause
cuts. Use suitable personal protective equipment.
DANGER!
When the outdoor temperature is around zero, the
water normally produced during defrosting of the
coils could form ice and make the flooring near the
installation area slippery.
Unit installation precautions
1. Check whether the power used complies with the value on the serial
number plate and check the safety of the power supply;
2. The unit must come into contact with the supply network via a
complete disconnection device under the overvoltage category Ⅲ.
3. Do not expose the unit directly to the corrosive environment with
water or moisture;
4. Use M12 bolts to tighten the feet and frame during installation;
5. The unit must be installed on a solid base that is 10 cm high;
Removing the compressor blocks
With THAITI 110 M P0, 114 M P0, 116 M P0 and 116 T P0 units, before
start-up, it is mandatory to remove the two compressor blocks installed
to reduce vibrations during transport. Failure to do so could cause

The first figure indicates their position (1), the second indicates a detail
of their position (2), and the last indicates the removal of the retainer
(3). Remove the block by removing the hex nut and then reassembling
it, otherwise there would be the risk of the compressor coming out of its
seat during operation.
Using rubber cable glands
They are supplied as standard with the unit and are set up as shown in
the figure.
If it is deemed necessary to replace them, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the two cable glands and replace them with the longer ones
supplied;
2. The various power supply cables (for example, of the 2 or 3-way
valve, etc.) must pass through it. Be careful to separate the
communication cables from the power cables;
3. After having completed the wiring connections, tighten the cable
glands with the relevant clips.
