SECTION II: INSTALLATION AND
MAINTENANCE
Pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 517/2014 of 16 April 2014, the
operators of equipment that needs to be checked for leaks pursuant to
Article 4(1), shall establish and maintain records for each piece of such
equipment specifying the information set forth in article 6 par. 1.
The operator is the owner of the equipment or the system. The operator
may formally delegate a person or external company (through a written
contract) for the actual control of the equipment and the system.

LIABILITY AND RECOMMENDATIONS

General information
 Read this manual thoroughly and keep it for future use.
 Carefully evaluate the potential risks and take suitable precautions,
in order to guarantee the safety of staff, before any repairs or
maintenance.
 Do not try to repair, move or re-install the unit without the aid of a
qualified technician.
Liability
The manufacturer declines all liability and declares the guarantee
null and void in the case of damaged caused by:
 incorrect installation, including the failure to comply with the
instructions contained in the relative manuals.
 Modifications or errors of electric or refrigerant errors or in the
hydraulic connections.
 Unauthorised coupling of other units, including units of other
manufacturers.
 Use of the unit in conditions other than those indicated.

SAFETY PROCEDURES

Important information regarding safety is given regarding the product
and contained in this manual. Read this installation manual thoroughly
before installing the unit. Important information for correct installation is
given in the manual.
Using the unit
IMPORTANT!
Control that staff wears suitable personal protective
equipment.
IMPORTANT!
Check that there is no damage caused by transport
or movement of the appliance and, if necessary,
send a complaint to the carrier immediately.
IMPORTANT!
Dispose of packaging material in compliance with
local standards.
IMPORTANT!
Lift the unit with specific equipment (lifting devices,
forklifts, etc.).
DANGER!
Prior to installation, make sure the power supply of
the line corresponds to that on the serial number
plate.
DANGER!
Make sure the unit is securely installed and there is
no swaying.
DANGER!
Do not climb onto or place objects on the unit,
which could cause injury or damage to the unit.
DANGER!
Do not rest containers of liquids or other objects
on the unit.
Keep potentially explosive or flammable objects at
least 1m away from the unit.
No smoking near the unit.
DANGER!
Do not obstruct the air intake and outlet.
DANGER!
If anomalies are noted, such as a burning smell,
immediately turn off the unit and contact the
technical assistance.
If the anomaly persists, the unit could be damaged
and there could be a risk of electric shock or fire.

Remember to turn off the unit before cleaning.
There may be a risk of electric shock.
DANGER!
Do not handle the unit with wet hands. There may
be a risk of electric shock.
DANGER!
Do not insert any foreign object into the unit. This
could cause damage.
DANGER!
Do not try to repair the unit yourself. Improper
repairs could result in electric shock or fire. Contact
the technical assistance.
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been
instructed on the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.

DESCRIPTION OF THE UNIT

II.2.1

STRUCTURAL FEATURES

Load-bearing structure and panelling in galvanised and painted
steel plate RAL9002; galvanised and painted steel plate base.
Inverter DC twin rotary hermetic compressor with steam injection
with controlling the variable capacity, complete with thermal
protection and crankcase heating resistance.
Cooling circuit with economiser.
Electronic expansion valve.
Adequately insulated, stainless steel braze-welded water side
plate heat exchanger, complete with antifreeze heater.
Finned coil air side heat exchanger with copper pipes and
aluminiummanganese fins with Golden Fin anti-corrosion
treatment in epoxy resin and further hydrophilic treatment.
Condensate drain tray with ducted drain supplied with electrical
heating resistance that runs in winter mode and is activated
according to the outdoor temperature.
Axial type fan with EC brushless motors equipped with internal
thermal protection and accident protection grilles.
Proportional electronic device for pressure regulation and
continuous regulation of the rotation speed of the fans.
Male threaded hydraulic connections.
Refrigerant circuit complete with:
load connection, high and low pressure side pressure switch,
o
pressure transducer on the high pressure side, gas separator,
electronic thermostatic expansion valve, cycle inversion valve,
liquid receiver and economiser.
