Properties :
• Removable repositionable silicone pads (more comfortable and effective material). (1)
• Strong elastic fabric. (2)
• Interchangeable adjustable straps. (3)
• Exclusive buckle system to fit right or left side (4-A).
Indications :
• For right or left inguinal hernia (A).
• Bilateral inguinal her nias (B).
• For pre- or post-operative wear.
• For permanent wear.
Contraindication :
Do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin.
Prior instructions for the use of the unilateral truss :
The unilateral truss may be used for either a right-side hernia or a left-side hernia.
• Right-side hernia
- The unilateral truss is supplied in the "right-side hernia" position.
- Simply pull back the two plastic guides (c), one after the other, then refer to the fitting
instructions.
• Left-side hernia
1. Remove strap (a), then position it on the other side.
2. Using the two plastic guides (c), pull off buckle (d), turn it round and replace it (metal clip
to wards the outside).
3. Pull back the two plastic guides one after the other (c).
4. Turn round the fastener (e).
The truss is in the "left-side hernia" position. Then refer to the fitting instructions.
Fitting :
- Place the pad(s) on the inside surface, against the hernia(s).
- Adjust the truss to your waist size by moving fastener (e). The truss should be firmly fitted,
without being too tight.
- Adjust the length of the thigh straps.
- Check that the pads are properly positioned.
Precautions :
Reduce the hernia before fitting the truss. To do this, it is recommended that you lie on your back
and massage the hernia.
Do not use for hernias which cannot be reduced.
Follow the advice of the health professional who prescribed or supplied the product. Consult
your health professional if discomfort occurs.
Store at room temperature, preferably in its original packaging.
For hygiene and performance reasons, do not re-use the product for another patient.
Washing instructions :
- See product label.
- Do not use detergents, fabric softeners or aggressive products (products containing chlorine).
- Squeeze out excess water.
- Dry away from heat sources.
