1. Raise the bed height to the full up position.
2. Lower the Fowler, Gatch sections, and the siderails to the full down positions.
3. Unzip the cover. The zipper starts in the middle of the foot end of the support surface.
N N o o t t e e - - Use caution not to damage the fire barrier.
4. Remove and discard the top cover per hospital protocols.
5. Reverse to install.
6. Verify proper operation before you return the product to service.

1. Unzip and remove the support surface top cover.
2. Unclip the head end and foot end air cell retainers from the bottom cover.
3. Remove the CPR connector to allow the support surface to deflate.
4. Unzip the fire barrier.
5. Work the fire barrier over the manifolds and air cells toward the foot end to remove the fire barrier.
6. Reverse steps to reinstall.
7. Plug in the pump to run the diagnostic test.
8. Run the pump diagnostic test. All tests must pass.
9. Verify proper operation before you return the product to service.
