The AST mode is on by default. The AST mode automatically adjusts air cell pressures to control patient immersion. The
AST mode can be on when static mode or ALP mode is on. You can start or stop the AST mode from either the home
screen or the mode screen.
1. To start the AST mode, press the A A c c t t i i o o n n button next to the A A S S T T m m o o d d e e icon (Figure 17).
2. To stop the AST mode, press the A A c c t t i i o o n n button next to the A A S S T T m m o o d d e e icon (Figure 18).
