1. Press and wait for M M a a x x I I n n f f l l a a t t e e to fully inflate. See Starting or canceling Max Inflate (page 16).
2. Position one patient support platform alongside the other patient support platform while minimizing the gap between the
two platforms.
3. Set the brakes to O O N N for both patient support platforms.
4. Adjust the patient support platform heights so that they are level with one another.
5. Transfer the patient following all applicable safety rules and institution protocols for patient and operator safety.
C C P P R R
CPR compressions may begin as soon as you remove the CPR connector.
1. Press the tab in on the CPR connector to disconnect.
2. Remove the CPR connector from the pump.
3. Remove the AST cable to prevent damage to the cable (recommended).

To start or cancel Max Inflate:
1. On the home screen, press the A A c c t t i i o o n n button next to the M M o o d d e e icon (Figure 5).
2. To start maximum inflation, press the A A c c t t i i o o n n button next to the M M a a x x I I n n f f l l a a t t e e icon (Figure 6).
N N o o t t e e - - The M M a a x x I I n n f f l l a a t t e e icon blinks until the support surface inflates to the maximum pressure setting.
