Fitting instructions
A Adjusting – torso belt (1)
For treatment of the right arm, close the torso belt to the left. For treatment of the
left arm, please proceed in reverse order. Make sure that the torso belt does not fit
too loosely.
B Foam blocks (2)
In a next step, please hold the arm to be fixated in the desired position. Now,
use Velcro fasteners to fasten the large foam block in the proper position close
to the elbow onto the bandage part. Then fasten the second foam block directly
underneath the wrist on the foam part.
C Forearm fixation cuffs (3+4)
The orthosis has two cuffs to fasten the arm. In open position, these are fastened
in the curvature of the foam blocks such that the Velcro side faces downward.
Subsequently, put the arm in and firmly close both cuffs. The hand support is
fastened with Velcro strips in the wrist cuff (4) and provides relief support for the
hand.
