To install blade into saw:
1. Open blade clamp release lever to its full open position as
shown in figure A.
2. Insert blade shank from the front.
3. Close blade clamp release lever. Check to make sure
blade is clamped securely.
NOTE:
BlAde CAN Be INSTAlled UpSIde-dOwN TO
ASSIST wHeN flUSH CUTTING.
To remove blade from saw:
WARNING:
Burn hazard. Do not touch the the blade immediately after use. Contact with
the blade may result in personal injury.
1. Open blade clamp release lever to its full open position as shown in figure A.
2. Remove blade.
OpERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
Always use proper eye protection that
conforms to ANSI Z87.1(CAN/CSA Z94.3) while operating this
power tool.
NOTE:
Before cutting any type of material, be sure it is
firmly anchored or clamped to prevent slipping.
• lightly place blade and and firmly press shoe against work
to be cut.
• To switch the tool on, press the variable speed switch on the
power unit. The tool speed depends on how far you press
the switch.
• Obtain maximum speed before applying pressure.
• Always hold saw firmly with both hands while cutting as
shown in figure B. whenever possible, the saw shoe must be
held firmly against the material being cut. This will prevent the
saw from jumping or vibrating and will minimize blade breakage.
• To switch the tool off, release the variable speed switch.
• Always use the appropriate type of saw blade for the workpiece
material and type of cut.
• If necessary, drill a hole in the workpiece near the starting point
of the cut so the blade will fit before starting the cut.
NoTE: This attachment only operates in the forward direction, the
forward/reverse slider of the power Unit should not be able to be
switched to reverse.
Flush cutting (Figure c)
• The compact design of the recipro c ating saw motor housing and
pivoting shoe permit close cutting to floors, corners and other
difficult areas.
• Turn the saw upside down so you are as close to the work
surface as possible.
• Always hold saw firmly with both hands while cutting as
shown in figure C.
wood cutting (Figure d)
• Before cutting any type of wood, be sure the work piece is
firmly anchored or clamped to prevent slipping.
• lightly place blade and and firmly press shoe against work
to be cut.
