Important: the diagnostic functions are made available by each ECU of the
vehicles. Some systems may have all diagnostic functions listed above,
while other may have less functions available. Thus, the Rasther PC
software can present diagnostic resources more or less complete,
depending on the diagnostic system.
Note: This product is accompanied by generic basic OBDII software
necessary for the operation of the equipment.
Conection
Before starting the operation with the Rasther PC, it is necessary to connect the
Rasther Box Shock to the vehicle in diagnostic.
The interface connection Rasther Box Shock to the computer can be done via
USB cable, serial cable, computer Bluetooth or a compatible USB 2.0 Bluetooth
adapter (Ex: USB Bluetooth CSR 8510).
The connection of the Rasther Box Shock interface to the vehicle will be tested
made by the D1 cable (for OBDII standard diagnostic connectors). For vehicles
with other tipe of diagnostic connectors, it is necessary to use other adaptador
cables, sold separately.
When the vehicle's diagnostic connector doesn't have power supply (12V or 24V),
it is necessary to connect the external power supply cable.
Note: The USB connection does not charge the battery.
