Checking material availability
At least 60 days in advance to the date established for the maintenance interventions, run a
detailed examination of the necessary material:
1.
check if this material is available in stock,
2.
if need be, request the missing details to the Technical Office of the Manufacturer at least
30 days in advance.

Maintenance and cleaning

CAUTION: in case components of the partly completed machinery are replaced,
they must be replaced with ones identical to the original.
CAUTION: any brazing operations carried out on equipment with PED risk
classification ≥ 1, must be performed exclusively by qualified personnel
The most significant and important operations relative to ordinary maintenance may be thus
summarized:
Periodically clean (at least once a month) the condenser, removing dust and grease. If the
room where the unit is installed is very dusty, it may be necessary to clean it more often. To
clean the condenser use a compressed air gun or a vacuum cleaner.
Clean the fixed and moving contacts of all the contactors every four months. Renew any
contacts that show signs of deterioration.
Check that all electrical terminals in the electrical panels and on all electrical service
terminal blocks are securely tightened every four months.
Visually check the entire refrigerating circuit, even inside the partly completed machine, to
search for refrigerant leaks, which are also announced by traces of lubricating oil. Promptly
intervene and examine in further depth if in doubt. Check for possible refrigerant gas leaks
by means of an annual inspection.
For leaks that make it necessary to replenish the refrigerant by > 10% of the total refrigerant
charge, the leak must be repaired no later than 30 days after the time the fault occurs.
Check the regular flow of refrigerant in the liquid line sight glass every four months.
Check the oil level via the oil level gauge (if present) on the compressor crankcase every
four months.
Carefully check the colour of the moisture sensitive element through the liquid line sight
glass every four months. Green means no moisture, yellow means moisture present. If the
indicator shows the presence of moisture, stop the machine immediately and change the
liquid line filter. Then change the refrigerant and the oil. Repeat this check after 3 days of
operation.
Check the compressor noise level every four months. This operation must be performed with
caution, since it requires the system to be running; check for the presence of ticking sounds
or vibrations, which may be a symptom of breakage or of excessive mechanical play
between the moving parts.
CAUTION: at the end of every maintenance or cleaning intervention, reposition all
the fixed guards.
CAUTION: make sure you keep the screws of the metal panels separate from the
screws required to secure the fan plastic safety grilles. The two types of screws are
different.
