4. Transport and installation
EN
DANGER: The operations shown below must be carried out by qualified operators.
The Manufacturer declines all liability for operations performed in violation of the
safety prescriptions, by unqualified operators, or without complying with the
instructions given in this manual.
CAUTION ! After purchasing the equipment and before using it, the user becomes
responsible for the component subject to the provisions of Directive 2014/68/EU (PED)
and must arrange for the legally required checks to be carried out in compliance
with statutory national legislation (Presidential decree 329 of 1/12/2004 in Italy). For
example, report commissioning, periodic inspection, etc.
before proceeding to incorporate the partly completed machinery into the final machine, you
must, however, arrange the power supplies and the utilities necessary for the system to operate
properly, following the indications reported in this Chapter and, if necessary, first consulting the
Technical Office of the Manufacturer.
Power supplies and Utilities
The power supplies and utilities necessary (responsibility of the Purchaser) for the partly completed
machinery to operate exclusively consist in the supply of electrical energy.
Unless otherwise specified, the following remain responsibility of the Purchaser:
arrangement of the transport devices necessary to transport the partly completed
machinery to the premises where it is to be assembled or installed;
arrangement of the tools necessary for assembly and installation;
arrangement of the auxiliary devices and consumption materials (e.g. non-flammable and
rustproof detergents, materials and tools necessary for cleaning and covering cloths).
Transport and handling
The indications contained in this paragraph must be complied when transporting and handling the
partly completed machinery.
CAUTION: During the activities the operator must wear all the necessary personal
protective equipment (PPE).
DANGER: When transporting or handling the partly completed machinery, observe
the following precautions.
The equipment used for lifting and transport must be suitable sized and of sufficient
capacity in relation to the load to be handled.
During transport operations make sure the load is correctly balanced and that no parts
are imperfectly secured or at risk of damage.
Check that the area in which the machine is to be handled is clear and free of obstacles
that could constitute a source of danger.
Do not transit or stand under suspended loads. Always place the partly completed
machinery on a surface that is able to support its weight.
