Operation
Voltage test
Check the device by connecting it to a known
power source, (e.g. a 230 V socket).
Note
If one or more LED indicators fail
during the voltage test, the device must
no longer be used.
Always test absence of voltage on both
terminals!
Note
A correct visualisation is ensured within
the temperature range of
–15°C to +45°C.
The voltage data indicated on the
device are nominal values.
DC voltage check
Take the test probes [4/5] and touch a DC
voltage which is within the rated voltage range.
3 The two upper LEDs [3] indicating the polarity
are lit.
3 The LEDs below [2] illuminate according to the
applied voltage.
3 The reference terminal (+ or  -) is the test probe
with the large handle [1].

AC voltage check
Take the test probes [4/5] and touch an AC
voltage which is within the rated voltage range.
3 The two upper LEDs [3] are lit.
3 The LEDs below [2] illuminate according to the
applied voltage.
Note
If the two upper LEDs [2] illuminate si-
multaneously, AC voltage is indicated!
Identification of life conductors
Touch the protective conductor with one test
probe [5] and test the other conductors using
the second test probe [4].
3 If the conductor is life, the device indicates AC
voltage.
Note
The residual current circuitbreaker has
not triggered.

Maintenance / Care

Keep the device always dry and clean.
If the device has become soiled due to daily
use, the housing can be cleaned with a damp
cloth.
Note
Never use aggressive cleaning agents
or solvents for cleaning.
