supervision or instruction concerning the

Battery
Never dispose of old batteries in your domestic
garbage. Old batteries must be disposed of
through local 'special garbage collection points'.
During extended periods of non-use, always
remove the batteries.

Replacing the batteries:

A decrease in the operating speed indicates
that the batteries need to be replaced. To
access the battery compartment, slide it
downwards and take it off. The unit is
designed for use with standard 'R6/AA'-type
1.5V batteries. Do not use rechargeable
batteries, as the operating voltage is rated at
only 1.2V. Replace the battery compartment
and push it upwards until it locks into place.
Before using for the first time
Before the appliance is used for the first time,
the unit should be cleaned as described in
General care and cleaning.
Operation
- Turn the trimmer on.
- Insert the trimming head gently into the
nose and start trimming the hairs.
- Turn the trimmer off.
Taking off the trimming head
- Turn the appliance off.
- Unlock the trimming head by turning it anti-
clockwise and take it off.
- When replacing the trimming head, ensure
that the dot mark on the head is properly
aligned with the corresponding square on
the housing. Lock the head by turning
clockwise.
