7.4 Changing fuses
Before replacing a fuse, disconnect the appliance from the mains.
Never use a fuse of larger impedance.
⇒ Switch the appliance off�
⇒ Disconnect from mains�
⇒ Unlatch the fuse holder (7) on both sides and remove�
⇒ Change blown fuse�
⇒ Replace the fuse holder by sliding back into the socket until both
sides lock into place�

Changing inlet filter

Twister evolution venturi only
In the Twister evolution venturi units there are two different types
of inlet filters:
► Current version:
Inlet filter internally, behind the compressed air connection
(Fig. 17-a).
⇒ Disconnect the appliance from the compressed air supply�
⇒ Press the compressed air connection ring (12) upwards and remove
the compressed air tube (18)�
⇒ Loosen the compressed air connection screw fitting (12) and remove
the filter (13).
⇒ Screw the new filter into the compressed air connection, replace the
screw fitting and hand-tighten.
⇒ Plug the compressed air tube (18) into the tube attachment on the
compressed air connection (12) as far as it will go, passing the point
of slight resistance�
⇒ Reconnect the appliance to the compressed air supply�

Previous version:
Inlet filter hidden, behind the compressed air connection
(Fig. 17-b).
⇒ Disconnect the appliance from the compressed air supply�
⇒ Press the ring on the inlet filter (13) up and pull the compressed air
hose (18) off�
⇒ Press the ring on the compressed air coupling (12) up and pull the
inlet filter(13) off.
⇒ Insert a new inlet filterto the compressed air coupling, passing the
point of slight resistance�
⇒ Insert the compressed air hose to the new intake filter, passing the
point of slight resistance�
⇒ Reconnect the appliance to the compressed air supply�
Frequent intake filter blockage is an indication of contaminated compressed air. In such cases
we recommend the upstream installation of a filter pressure regulator (see section „3.3 Accesso-
ries").
7.6 Changing the silencer
Twister evolution venturi only
⇒ Unscrew and remove silencer (11)�
⇒ Fit and screw in new silencer�
