Maintenance and Cleaning

Before any work on the machine itself,
pull the mains plug.
For safe and proper working, always
keep the machine and ventilation slots
clean.
Replacing the Belts
Loosen the screws 36 and remove the covers of the
drive.
Replace torn or worn belts. Fit the inner belt first, so that
the rear pulley at the machine's tilting arm has the belt
mounted. Now fit the outer belt, observing that this belt
and the pulleys engage in each other.
Slowly rotate the axle using the Allen key, while at the
same time sliding on the drive cover towards the tilting
arm. The centring pins must carefully engage.
Replacing the Brushes
Replace the brushes when they have a minimum length
of 5 mm.
Remove the plugs 37 for this, and replace the brushes
with original Würth brushes.
After replacing the brushes, run the machine several
minutes at no-load.
When changing the brushes, also check the condition
of the slip ring. If the slip ring shows any burn or chip
marks, have the machine checked by a Würth cus-
tomer service agent.
Motor Brake
The machine is equipped with a mechanical centrifugal
brake. It ensures that the saw blade comes to a com-
plete stop in less than ten seconds.
When the duration until the saw blade comes to a com-
plete stop is too long owing to worn brake linings, take
your machine to a Würth customer service agent.
Replacing the Batteries of the Laser
Guidance
Unscrew the screws 38 and remove the lid of the bat-
tery compartment.
Remove the exhausted batteries and replace them with
new ones.
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken in man-
ufacturing and testing procedures, repair should be
carried out by a Würth master-Service.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please
always include the article number given on the type
plate of the machine.
The current spare parts list for this power tool can be
