Important information

The user bears sole responsibility for the
accuracy of the specified actuation data and
test values for components made by manu-
facturers other than Robert Bosch GmbH.
The user is also responsible for ensuring that
non-Bosch components are properly tested.
Robert Bosch GmbH provides no warranty
and accepts no liability for damage, expens-
es or other consequences arising as a result
of incorrect and/or improper specification
of actuation data and test values and/or
improper testing of non-Bosch components
by the user.
i
For every test - in automatic mode - always stick to
the same test setup and the same testing conditions
(e. g. test temperatures, elapsed times etc.). This
will enable you to achieve a high degree of reproduc-
ibility (repeat accuracy) in your test results.

Test sequence description

To test a common rail pump in conjunction with the
Robert Bosch common rail testing equipment (EPS 815,
CRS 845 and EPS945 system software), a test sequence
is required. A test sequence consists of several test
steps that set up and test various operating points on
the common rail pump (start test, idling, full load etc.).
A sample test sequence for Delphi pumps (9xAxxx
Delphi DF.x Rotation R Sample) is available in the local
database for editing. This sample test sequence contains
test steps predefined by Robert Bosch GmbH with pre-
set setpoints such as the speed, rail pressure, measuring
times and IMV frequency and temperatures for the tank,
feed and overflow. It does not include the setpoints and
tolerances for the injection and return quantity. These
missing setpoints must be determined by the tester or
taken from data sheets and added to the test steps. After
completion, the sample test sequence must be renamed
and saved in the local database.
In addition to the purely quantity-based test steps, the
sample test sequence also includes "uniform delivery"
and "Zero-delivery" test step types.
