Repeat the procedure for generating a battery code, if required,
and continue testing the remaining batteries.

SOC PACK TEST

1. SELECT TEST: Select SOC PACK TEST.
2. The analyzer will prompt you to TURN LOADS ON. Turn on the
accessory loads, the blower to high (heat), the rear defogger, and
the high beam headlights. Press ENTER to continue.
NOTE: DO NOT use cyclical loads such as air condition-
ing or windshield wipers.
3. The Micro740 will count down 30 seconds and start the test.
At its conclusion, it will display one of two results (with the
measured pack voltage):
GOOD CHARGE: The pack has a good state of charge.
LOW CHARGE: Disconnect the pack and test the individual
batteries.
If the analyzer displays warning messages or other instructions
after you press ENTER to start the test, refer to "Test Messages."

SOC PACK CODE

After the analyzer displays the SOC Pack Test results, it will
prompt you to press ENTER to generate an SOC Pack code.
At the prompt LAST 3 OF VIN, scroll to the correct character.
Press ENTER to select it and move to the next character.
(Pressing the BACK button will move the cursor back one space.)
When finished, press ENTER.
